We have found that the traditional concept of the classroom does not make best use of the teaching environment. Learners sitting behind desks in a cramped and impersonal space is not at all conducive to the interactive relationship that needs to be nurtured between learners and teachers. The teacher standing at the head of the class is distanced and impersonal, and cannot pay individual attention to learners as a result. What makes the Edu-Lab Home School Support Center unique is that we have developed laboratories as opposed to classrooms.
Each laboratory focuses on a specific area of education, and is fitted out and decorated accordingly. The aim is to distinguish these different learning areas by creating specially-themed environments that are fun, flexible, and creative. They evoke interest and curiosity in our learners, which is a key requirement to absorbing knowledge.
Not only are we able to incorporate many different learning spaces in our range of laboratories, but learners are able to move seamlessly between them. This ensures that they remain engaged and stimulated at all times. The range of activities on offer, and the attention we have paid to the smallest details, means that no learner can be bored or disinterested at any time.
